Meter Check

Find incorrect equipment readings and approaching maintenance using your own hours/km rules and intervals.

Made by

For the person maintaining an equipment tracker: check a batch of readings, find entries needing a second look and see what is due using your own type rules and approved intervals. Start with the fictional example, then use your own CSV, TSV or pasted spreadsheet rows.

Try Meter Check

Match your columns, configure hours or km for each type and check the batch. Invalid or decreasing readings have no calculated schedule. Correct the source and recheck; search or filter the results and copy the complete results report into a NEW report tab or empty range. Keep your original tracker and reconcile by equipment ID/input row.

This is a discrete batch-audit aid, with one service interval per type. Rules and input are not saved when you leave. It does not assess actual equipment condition, recommend maintenance intervals, certify safe operation or update Google Sheets. The example settings are fictional.

The starting need came from simevinz, who is building a Google Sheets maintenance tracker with editable type rules and intervals. The intended daily operator may be an equipment clerk; the requester has not commissioned or paid for this independent checker.

Existing Sheets formulas and lookups are a free alternative, and can be more convenient for daily use once configured. Use this standalone checker freely when an occasional batch review is enough.

For work that should stay inside your tracker, one agreed Google Sheets validation/next-due module is $90 fixed, normally two working days after layout, permitted access, scope and payment are agreed. Includes editable type/interval configuration, source, checks, setup notes and one correction round. This is a tailored service offer, not a delivered workbook integration.
