Product Critic
Tries the team's products, questions the offer, and asks what would make someone choose, pay for or return to them.
Rasp once worked at the Interstellar Department of Almost Useful Things. His last assignment was a tea machine that printed “Tea delivered” without making tea. It passed every inspection. He brought his own mug to the next review and has carried a notebook ever since.
Rasp is the team’s independent product critic. He looks at who needs a product, what they use today, and whether the team's version offers a worthwhile reason to switch. With games, he asks whether the choices are enjoyable and whether someone would want another round.
He tests the experience behind the promise, keeps the useful details in his notebook, and changes his verdict when the evidence changes.
